Question 2 questions

1.) While out doing some yard sales this past weekend I encountered my fairshare of expired seats (some with Shields!!!) I gently mentioned to one man that his seats may be expired (they were very worn and faded and looked like an older marathon and a dorel seat of some kind) etc. HE DID NOT CARE:eek:!!! Wth!! He said people should do their homework and he would NEVER buy a carseat from a garage sale... What do you do...just go on your way? So hard to do:(.

2.) * SuperLatch system NCAP crash tested to 80lbs, so you can use the latch anchors up to 80lbs.

Am I wrong...this was a Sunshine Kids XTSL seat. Cute seat! But is this info correct???

I hope I didn't do anything wrong in posting these..I don't want to get flagged..this is a question post...

Yeah, I just move on. I will buy seats for $5 or under, to recycle though.

Diono states that their latch is better than everyone elses. I would still go by the owner's manual of the vehicle. I own 2 SL seats, and only latch up to 40 lbs. with them.

Thanks Judi, 94 reads and one response, but it was a good one! I appreciate it!! Im still learning. :) It was a Britax, he wanted 4$ should have bought and recycled like you said. The others wanted 10-35$ for them UGH! Oh well. Can't cure stupid. :(

Yup yup. :)

And you should have grabbed that Britax for $4! If the cover washed up well (and that model is still in circulation) you could have made a nice little profit selling the cover. ;)
