Question Does anyone know where this 2006 Graco travel system was sold?

I have a friend who has this carseat/stroller combo and obviously the carseat has expired and is not being used... Anyways I found this pic of it online... I'm not sure of the name but I do have the model # if that will help anyone. It is a Graco #7260MRA2. She knows it came from Target or Wal-Mart but cannot remember which. I know there are several car seat experts on here who could probably answer this so that's why I'm here. Thanks in advance.

You are awesome, thank you! The stroller has a recall and we were trying to inform the store because it was not available in the Kiosk at Target for their recall or on the wal-mart board locally either so we just wanted to be sure that the store that sold it was aware of the recall. :)

It was 3/3/06... doesn't that mean to discontinue use 6 years from that date? If not- wow I feel silly I've been discontinuing use on all of mine like that!

BTW just as an update this was a BRU pattern :)

Graco seats are December of the 6th year. But that's not a universal rule....pretty sure its unique to Graco. Lots of companies are 'blank' # of years from manufacture date.

Dorel and Graco at the time were December. Baby Trend as well, I believe. Britax, Chicco, Recaro, Sunshine Kids were all six years from date. I think Evenflo at that time was December, but they're now six/eight years exact.

This seat is stamped under the child's feet, next to the locking clip, "Do not use after December 2016." That will clear up any confusion. I bet my dinner it's there.

Am I missing something with a stroller recall? My friend just said she returned her's for a recall, but on Graco's site all that shows are recall fix kits.

Well mom2JuliaRose I appreciated your help and you actually did help me figure it out because we took it to Target and had them look up the model # and it wasn't in their system, same thing at Target and then went to BRU where it was finally found. :)

Wendy thank you so much! I actually have all Britax and just got mom a Graco so that's helpful information since I haven't taken the Graco apart yet cover wise to come across the stamp. Thanks again!

Kobain'sMommy- the recall does say to contact Graco and they will send you the repair kit but if you purcashed it from Target or Wal-Mart they both will exchange the entire travel system for a new one if you are not comfortable using a recalled item... however BRU will do absolutely nothing except tell you to contact Graco for the kit. She has contacted them and her kit should be on the way :) More so than any of that though we were concerned because we looked at the recall boards at all of the above stores and not ONE of them had the recall announcement posted. The recall affected 2 million strollers and they are literally everywhere so if people are more informed about it hopefully it will help someone.

Thank all of you so much!

Was it the Spree strollers that were recalled? I have a Spree that was recalled. I don't have the car seat but have the cover for it somewhere around here. I know it came from Walmart.
