Question Pee pads??

Is there anything I can put in DD's car seat MA 70 for a 24 hour trip? She is 3, but occasionally will have pee accidents like when she sleeps and there isn't a way for me to clean her seat if she pees in it as we will be staying in hotels just long enough to sleep. We've done this trip before, but not with her potty trained :) is it ok to put a thin folded blanket under her?

Blue Chux pads work great and are very thin. I think that they would protect your seat a bit more than a thin blanket because of the waterproof back and they absorb well so would hopefully prevent any spill-over if she has a big accident.

There are a number of places online that you can get them and they also have them available at medical supply stores.

Would she be mortified to wear pull-ups or goodnights? I always put my kids in pull-ups when we're out, or when they're going to sleep, if I have ANY doubts at all.

You know I thought of puppy pads and I think my neighbor may have them...I could do pull ups too, but I'm kind of anti pull up and don't want her to get the wrong idea...I am not sure I have time to do the chux pads, we leave on Wed, maybe on the way back.

Definitely the puppy pads! They work beautifully and are available pretty much anywhere that sells pet supplies. I bought mine at WalMart.

I'm cheap and lazy, so I used to just put a disposable diaper under DS in his seat. It was good because I could wrap it around him, including under the buckle, but since it was so thin (basically the same layer used to be on him, but now it was just on the outside), it didn't interfere with the harness. He never wound up having an accident in the seat, so I could just keep reusing the same one, but I kept another in the car, just in case. :)

That would work too! She still wears a diaper at night, never occurred to me... :)

Puppy pads would work too! They are pretty much the exact same thing as Chux pads but the Chux ones are a bit cheaper.
