Peg convertible highest harness slot for RFing?

I have flipped through the poorly written manual multiple times and I don't see where it disallows the use of the highest harness setting for RFing. Anyone know what section or page it states this?

I was trying to find a link to the manual on their website, but they don't have it up yet. On their poduct description on the website though, it states:

The Convertible allows a child to sit rear facing up to 45 lbs., as long as the child's head is at least 1" below the headrest edge. (Please note: Only the lower seven positions can be used in rear-facing mode.)

It must be written somewhere in the manual about the harness limits RF (at least I hope so). If someone can find a link to the online manual, I would like to have it so I can update the measurements/data spredsheets with it.

Thanks. I read it thoroughly and there is no mention anywhere. I'm going with its safe to use RFing in all heights until the amend my manual.

The manual is actually misprinted.

For RF, you can only use the first 7 slots and their head needs to be 1" below the shell. I have called thier customer service department when I first got the seat with a whole list of questions. I am pretty sure they thought I was playing 20 questions with them...

Yeah, they omitted it on their manual but it is officially stated on their website, and they will tell you that if you call them. They made a lot of omissions and errors in the manual (one huge safety risk that stands out to me is that they mention in the seatbelt types that you must lock the belt FF- the "lockoffs", and yes they call them that, are not to lock the belt- but locking the belt is never mentioned at all in the FF seatbelt installation section. )

They can't expect consumers to follow these rules that aren't in the manual. Aren't they required to revise the manual and redistribute them to those who have already purchased (and registered) the seat?

Wait, below the shell, not the headrest? And it still RF as long as the Radian? Sorry, just trying to get an accurate picture of the options.

Yes, headrest. In the 7th position up, I measured it as 1/2 inch shorter than the Radian. And since the Radian requires 1 1/2 inches headroom, and the Peg only 1, they last the same amount of time RF (approximately.)

In the 7th position up, while the headrest does go over the shell, the neck and most of the head would still be supported by the shell as well when 1" below the edge of the headrest. I'm assuming that's why they chose that position as the max for RF.
