this is for a FFing install

what do I need to know? I read through my AOE manual and I know that the towel MUST go. I also know now that the honda can't "borrow" the latch hooks from the outer seats.
So Do I securely put the seat belt through the belt path THEN attach and tighten the top tether? He is FFing and too big to be rear facing. Or do you do the tether first then put the seat belt through?
What do I suggest to her for his head when it falls forward when he sleeps? She said she is 100% sure that he is 30lbs. She weighs him all the time
guide me please ladies........I don't have the manual but I have read MY manual

Seat gets installed first without the tether (it can be loosely attached to keep it out of the way), then check for movement, THEN tighten up top tether.

She can put a rolled up receiving blanket by his head when he falls asleep, but basically it's a fact of life that once your kids go FFing, their heads will fall over when asleep... not much you can do about it.

Your manual should be pretty much identical to hers... especially in the installation department, so that's a great start.

if it is 2 or so years old, it may be a 35lb model... check the stickers on the side of it to be sure.

really? even in canada? On the sears site it says 30lbs but we ALL know how reliable THAT is! I will look tomorrow though

also............my AOE has a manufacture date of October 2006. But it only goes to 30lbs???

I think late 2004 was the last time they had seats going to 35lbs, but with the way some stores sell old stock, she *may* have an old one that goes to 35lbs.

From what I gather it was only some AO and not AOE that went to 35lbs RF. I had 2 2004 AOE and I have a 2005 AOE and all went to 30lbs RF but there is a someone selling a 2004 AO that RF to 35lbs.

AOE's had the 35lb limit as well, just depends when in 2004 it was made and they may have made the switch on AOE's before AO's.
