Indonesianfoodmart.com of Rockville, MD, is recalling all packages of "Tempeh Starter Yeast" because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled " Tempeh Starter Yeast "and “Super Starter Yeast” were distributed nationwide and internationally through direct mail orders. The product was also distributed to the following areas: Australia, Canada, Slovenia, New Zealand, Brunei, Darussalam, Poland and Croatia.

River Ranch Fresh Foods, LLC of Salinas, CA is initiating a voluntary recall of retail and foodservice bagged salads, because they have the potential of being contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Retail salad products under this recall were distributed throughout the United States and Canada under various sizes and packaged under the brand names of River Ranch, Farm Stand, Hy-Vee, Shurfresh, and The Farmer’s Market. Foodservice salad products under this recall were distributed throughout the United States and Canada under various sizes and packaged under the brand names of River Ranch and Sysco.

Pacific Coast Fruit Company, Portland, Oregon is voluntarily recalling multiple types of bagged processed salads (Chef on the Run, Mio Fratello, Pacific Coast Fruit VA Foodservice brand) based on the potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. Pacific Coast recalled products were distributed to Fred Meyer, Avanti, and Evergreen in Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Idaho.

Gills Onions, LLC of Oxnard, CA is initiating a voluntary recall, 2,360 pounds, of diced red onions with lot code 51RDA1A2119 and use-by-dates May 14, 15 and 17, 2012 because it may be contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled diced red onions were distributed directly from Gills Onions to retailers in Canada and retailers and foodservice distributors in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, Arkansas, Ohio, Tennessee, New Jersey, Georgia, and Florida.

Caribe Produce LTD Co. of McAllen, TX, is recalling 286 cases of Papaya Maradol, Caribeña Brand papayas packed in 35 lb. cartons marked with the brand “ Caribeña “ and “ Product of Mexico” stamped on the side. These papayas have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled Papaya Maradol, Caribeña Brand cases were distributed in the Bronx, New York in wholesale stores and through retail stores from May 14th, 2012 to May 17th, 2012.

L.A. LINK (HUNTINGTON BEACH) CORPORATION of Cerritos, California is recalling Shiitake-Ya brand Gourmet Shiitake Slices with a “SELL BY date” of 04/16/2013 because the mushrooms may be contaminated with the chemicals carbendazim, fluoranthene, and pyrene. Residues of these chemicals are not approved on dried mushrooms. The Gourmet Shiitake Slices were sold exclusively to Costco Wholesale locations in California, Oregon, and Washington.

All Sterile Human and Veterinary Prescriptions Distributed by Franck’s Pharmacy From November 21, 2011 to May 21, 2012. This recall is being initiated after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") notified us that environmental sampling of our clean room revealed the presence of microorganisms and fungal growth.

Diamond Pet Foods is expanding a voluntary recall to include its Diamond Naturals Small Breed Adult Dog Lamb & Rice Formula dry dog food manufactured on Aug. 26, 2011 due to potential exposure to Salmonella. The product was distributed in the following states: Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Further distribution through other pet food channels may have occurred.
