I saw it flash for a second (and saw opened/resealed) but 2angels2love was 2 fast.

I'm not sure how I feel about opened/resealed...I'd feel much better about VBD (or new - ha!)...

I've gotten an open/resealed Parkway, Oobr, and a Keyfit Caddy and they were all brand new inside - they had the original sales slip from Amazon so clearly Amazon returns. Still with all the proper tags and everything.

You won't be. I haven't gotten a bad seat yet. I did get 2 rounds of broken Kinects around xmas but they exchanged and were really good about the whole thing.

First bad car seat experience with NBD. got an F85SICT that was VBD. It had some serious box damage (squished and a big hole. Took the seat out and it was really bad. Very dirty, scuffed up, no plastic bag or paper work. Looked at it more closely and there was dried up and moldy food falling out of it and the cover was frayed around the seat buckle and where the seatbelt comes out at bottom of seat, there was dried on moldy food. The cover also had stains on the back of it. Never seen a seat like this before. NBD did not open this box and look at the seat in question. there is no way that anybody would mistake this for a new seat. MFG was 8/2011 It was obvious just from looking at the box that it had been opened, not just box damage shipping. Obviously someone had returned a very used seat to amazon. I contacted NBD and they are putting out a ups pick up. Bummer.
The marathon I ordered was in perfect shape with tags attached.
