Yes, apparently Fred Meyer has switched over from the MyRide 65 to the TrueFit Recline as the main convertible seat they carry. I benefited from this a couple of months ago - I picked up a clearanced MyRide for $80!

I don't have a Kroger anywhere near me, but I was under the impression they were a grocery store? That looks a lot like walmart to me. I am so confused! That is a way cute seat though!

The fancy krogers in nice neighborhoods sell furniture and household stuff too. There's one in Kettering that sells carseats but I don't get over there very often unless I'm CLing. It's too far for me to drive just for groceries but I might have to check it out the next time I'm over that way.

Our Kroger SO does not sell seats, except for the backless Turbo that appeared on an endcap a few months ago. Too funny!

Ha ha. I've never heard of Kroger and I thought you meant Kruger National Park in South Africa! I thought there was going to be a picture of a kid in a carseat installed in a jeep watching elephants! I was a bit disappointed.

In the Northwest, all the Kroger stores are called Fred Meyer and they are all "one stop shopping" which carry pretty much the same things. They have toy departments and housewares and clothes and electronics and everything. A lot like a SuperWalmart only scaled up a little.

We have Fred Meyer here (one small one that's just a grocery and one big one that's more like WM but with good brands) and they have the same seat. They carry one Snugride, the AOE, the Turbo, and the TF.

This Kroger was just a grocery store until a few months ago. It's in the process of becoming a Kroger Marketplace. It looks like it's going to be super nice when it gets done. Right now, it's a mess.

I'm really happy that someplace local is carrying the TF again. I don't need it but I don't recommend it much IRL because there was nowhere to see it until now.

Kroger here is the scary ghetto grocery store. Like, I won't take my kids to one at night, and they have actual security guards and metal detectors you have to walk through. 0.o

I believe Fred MEyer was a Puget Sound local chain that got bought out by Krogers.
