Your favorite waterproof car seat potty mat?

I have a 2.5 year old in the throes of potty learning and I really want to protect our seat, especially since I will be getting her a new one in a week or so. She will be RF in a TFP. Do you have any brand recommendations for a potty mat?

I was just searching this topic a few nights ago as we will be in the midst of potty learning in the coming future. If you use the forum search feature it will bring up several threads. Here are a couple of them:

With DS1 we just put Pull-Ups on over his underwear when in the carseat, but I'm not sure I want to go that route this time. I am leaning toward trying Chux Pads in the seat; although I haven't tried them yet. I think they are available in the incontinence section of most stores. I heard from someone that the Puppy Pads might not be the best choice because they have chemicals in them to attract the puppy...I have no idea if this is really true or not though.

I'd be interested to see if anyone else has some other new ideas to add, as I'm not sure which route we'll go this time around and I like having lots of options.

Chux pads for sure! Especially if you are on a road trip, because you are not going to be able to wash out a cloth pad, and you don't want to keep something covered in pee in the car!

Some of the puppy pads can be pre-treated to attract a puppy but what they use is harmless, it's basically an imperceptible trace of urea. Regardless, the Chux are cheaper anyway so if you can find them, that's the way to go!

I have 2 bags of Chux leftover from my home birth that I was going to give away to the midwives. But now that I've read this, I'm saving them for potty training! What a great idea and saves me looking for something next year!

Thanks. :)

I love my piddle pad, it stays in place and catches pee and water. I use the Diono pad as backup but don't like it nearly as much.
