I'm gonna have a heartattack probably when Ruthie finally 5-steps. She's so tiny for her age (compared to her brothers... especially Damian) and I still have to remind myself that she's 8... I look at her and I still see this little little girl. Heck, if I squint, I can still see baby...

She looks at me with those big doe eyes and it is really hard to have those important talks with her about boys and other things (but I do it).

I say the youngest should never have to grow up.

It wouldn't feel right to me, either. It's one of those "dreaded" things almost, like first bras and stuff.

We've done the "first bra" already, too. And even a "first date" (!!!). I'm not ready for the next first, which I assume will be her period.

Dating before your period. Hmmmm. It just seems wrong.
