Boulevard 70 head wings

Just removed the cover to was it and both side pieces are broken off cleanly at the bend. We also have a boulevard 65 and I washed it last weekend. It has plastic with the foam piece inside it.
Now what? I am sure he broke it, he slides his hands between the seat and the wings and goes to sleep. He sleeps with his hand between the bed and the pillow so I guess that feels similar.

Is it safe to just piece it back together? I had no idea it was broken and was shocked when I removed the head cover.

Its fine to tape them back together. But also call Britax so they know about it and can send you new wing foam ;)
