Don't have the manual with me. Do both the lap and shoulder belt go under the red lap belt guide? Or just the lap portion? Thanks!

Have you tried having her buckle with it over, the easy way, and THEN tuck the belt under? It might be easier for her to do that way.

Yeah. It's the belts. We have a grand caravan and the shoulder belt doesn't freely slide because it gets caught up in the shoulder belt guide on every booster we've tried. Couple that with a locking latch plate and its a disaster with boosters. I thought with the high arm rests this might help. Nope.

When we have #4 no idea what I will do. I sure dont wanna climb back there to buckle them! Right now a captains seat is stowed so it's not a huge deal but in another year that will be differently.

Why oh why is it so hard to find a booster for back there???

I know it isnt a popular seat but my girls are doing good in the third row of our caravan clone in evenflo big kid boosters. Well, other than Lexi falling asleep constantly and asking to be harnessed.

Eta mine is a 1999 so your seat geometry is probably different.

I had an ospw that worked great in my mom's 08 caravan. I have a 98 caravan and it sucks for boosters in the third row.

what year is your grand caravan? just curious since I don't have that much trouble with boosters in the 3rd row (other than almost all being tippy cause of the design of the bench... narrow boosters are key, but buckling has never been much of an issue) in my 2005 caravan and my ILs have the same year (2005) grand and it's even easier.

06 so it should be the same. Most people here say its a disaster too. I've tried probably six different boosters back there and two no backs.

I know exactly what you mean. I've got an 07 and I hate those third row belts so much I avoid having to put a booster back there. My 7 year old is still harnessed simply because I don't want to deal with the funky geometry with a high back. And a no back? Forget about it. The shoulder belt is a good 3-4 inches away from his body.

I think it's the stow n go platform. My mom has the same van, but not stow n go and I don't have issues in her third row.
