An abbreviation request

i'm seeing everyone is beginning to refer to the evenflo triumph advance as the "ETA".

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we NOT use that? ETA is pretty much universally understood as "estimated time of arrival", and i'm finding it disorienting and distracting.

i'm trying to think of an alternative. TA won't work either since that generally refers to tether anchor. how about ETRA or TRA or EFTA?

ETA also can be shorthand for edited to add, depending on the context. Seeing ETA used to refer to the Triumph Advance really threw me, too, lol.

THANK YOU! I was so confused earlier (although I see 'ETA' and think 'edited to add' too, from all my time spent online ;))

I hadn't noticed that, but for me ETA means Edited to Add. lol

(At least on forums).

oh, yeah... ETA (edit to add) is another one that bugs me... i've only seen it used that way on this forum. every other forum i'm on uses "EDIT:"

Personally, I like ETAdv or TAdv. I'm a rebel like that. ;)

i thought about similar abbreviations, but then thought that combos of upper and lower case letters in an abbreviation just wouldn't go over well-- to much to remember. all the current abbreviations for carseats seem to be exclusively uppercase (MCP, MA, DC, BV, RA, RYS, SR, SS1, etc).
