I helped some parents today with a new R120 in their 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer. The 24lb 16 month old arrived FF and I convinced them to rear face him. They were all for it. Except the seat is incompatible RF in that vehicle. It's got the 'tootsie roll' issue as described in this thread: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=218418
But worse. It's completely incompatible outboard. I tried my own angle adjuster with it in the centre - it's marginal, and might work, but still more reclined that I'd prefer, and possibly too reclined for them to drive. I didn't fully complete the install with the seat belt in that position since I wasn't giving them my own AA anyway. The child left FF, SafeStop on of course.
