3 accross, small car, expecting twins, limited budget

What car seats would you suggest for a mama: expecting twins, will have 3 across in a small Kia, and limited budget, and will fit RFing well?

I thought of the Combi, but its quite out of her price range!

Which Kia, and what seat does she currently have to do three-across with (and/or, what age/size is the child?)

More information can help us make a better recommendation.

Twins will probably be on the smaller side. It seems like Combi's bottom slots are SR22 heightish. How about the Comfy Carry Elite, or which ever model has the front adjuster?

Okay I checked the database. Combi Shuttle 33 has 8.5 in bottom slots. I'd skip that. The Comfy Carry is 17 inches wide, so pretty narrow.

OP what are the other child's age, height and weight? Also what seat is that child in and how does it fit now?

The safety 1st comfy carry elite would be my first choice. Or the evenflo embrace if it was front adjust.

I had to smile at this because I have two friends who have both had twins in the past month and they are all four about average. The first set were both just under 8 pounds (7 lb 12 oz. and 7 lb. 14 oz., I believe). The second set were both right at 7 pounds (6 lb. 14 oz. and 7 lb. 3 oz, I believe).

I know twins are often smaller, but I just had to smile because my most recent experience with twins has been so "average."
