Question Will 2 car seats and a booster fit in the 2012 Kia Optima?

My husband is looking at buying the Kia Optima. However, before we make that decision, I wanted to know if anyone has successfully gotten 2 car seats and 1 booster in the back seat. One car seats would need to be an infant carrier that is rear facing. I know that the backseat has three latches but I don't know if you can fit three car seats at once.

Here are the specs from Edmunds:

Rear hip Room: 54.5 in.
Rear head room: 37.6 in.
Rear leg room: 34.7 in.
Rear shoulder room: 55.7 in.

Thanks for any advice.

I don't have any personal experience with an Optima, but some other info that would be helpful for us to know how best to answer your question would be:

1. what are the ages, weights, and seated torso heights of your kids (distance from bottom to shoulder when your child is sitting criss-cross applesauce with his/her back against the wall - useful for determining how much growing room the child would have in various 5-point harnessed car seats)

2. what seats do you currently own?

3. what is your approximate budget for new seats if new seats would be needed to fit 3 across?
