Kids sliding forward and down in OSPW

Has anyone had this to happen? Is it because they are too wide? Neither has a skinny butt anymore. :p

I position them right and after a few mins I look back and they have scooted down and lapbelt is in their stomach. :( I would say it was just my DS (though he doens't do it in a turbo/monterey/literider) but then it happened to my DD who is an awesome booster rider. She said the seat was "slippery"

Yes, we had to switch to a new seat with my eldest because of the butt scooch. 6 yr old is ok still, she's skinny though.

That happened to my DD when she rode in one for awhile at the age of 5. It seemed like the seat made her slide down/forward...we eventually got a TB and it was better.

I haven't had that problem with either of my older kids, but they are both super skinny. I would assume that the shape/ natural recline of the vehicle seat would make a difference too.

I second the idea of putting some foot support in there. I know you are working a 3-across, so it would be easier than trying to find a new combo that works!

Oh, well. The turbo works but not quite as easy to buckle but it works. I think I know a skinny minnie who might like to use it to start booster training.
