we currently have a 2002 ford f 150 with an 8ft bed that i drive my daughter to school in 21 months airbag is off with top tether and seatbelt, but looking at a new truck possibly still a ford f150 extended cab does anybody know how long the base of the seat is, so i can guess what kind of car seat will fit back there, and does anybody know the difference between a styleside and flairside box, im trying to avoid an 8ft bed and extended cab the thing is long to drive already. i like the 6.5 ft bed but they have those two options for the bed, does either one give more room in the bed, are there any other car features i should be looking at esc, side airbags ( not sure if available on an extended cab) etc....
