Question Marks on legs

Have a petite baby daughter. She is in a Britax Adv 70 CS. The straps across her thighs leave marks after car rides-is this normal?

Sounds like you might have the straps too snug. Check for snugness at the SHOULDERS ONLY. You shouldn't be able to pinch any slack.

How small is she? Is the fit otherwise good on her?
My kids would have minor red marks on the chubby part of the thigh in the marathons when they were little, because the geometry of the hip straps. I never felt it was of concern.

DS gets the marks in his RA55, too. He doesn't in any other seat. Now that he's verbal, I'm thinking he would complain if it were uncomfortable. He tells me if I accidentally over-tighten, if his clothes are bunched uncomfortably, etc. So, I'm thinking, as pp said, its just the geometry of the harness.

The fit is great! Just the red marks. I am thinking I may be over tightening. I pull the strap at the buckle and then check shoulders-should I not be doing that?

The same happen with my DD when she was a baby in her Diplomat, it was not over tight, what I did was to use the thinest wash cloth and put it between her thighs ad the harness, for me that solve the problem, it didn't happen when she was wearing pants so I figured......
