Cute Kaylie Story

I was on the phone with my girlfriend last night. Her daughter is in Teagan's room at school. She's decided to get her DD a Marathon, but doesn't want to turn her back RF. Yes, I've showed her videos, I've beat the horse to death. She's not going for it. At least she's going to harness her past 40 pounds, or so she says for now:rolleyes:. Her DD is 19 months old and weighs about 25 pounds.

So I hang up the phone and my favorite 4 year old eavesdropper says "Carly's getting a seat like mine?". I said yes. She says "is she going to face backwards?". I said no. She says in horror "that's not safest. she's breaking the rules". I explained that she wasn't breaking the law, but that she's right, RF is safer. Kaylie's response "but she's breaking YOUR rules! That's worse than breaking the police rules!".

Good to know I'm feared more than the law in my own house!

ROFL! I love that she's more afraid of you. Hopefully it means you won't have problems with a horrible child when she gets older. You know, like on Maury Povich and such?

It is so nice to have found people like me that don't care what other people think and just want to do what's safest for my kids. Just turned DD RF again after over a year of FF and she doesn't have a problem. She said she wanted to 'go the other way' when I first put her in, but now she's fine!
