I don't know, but I think it's the only one getting a change. At least, that's the only new name I see on the Britax Registry Rewards redemption info. It's supposed to be available July 2012.

Perhaps to distinguish the Boulevard 70 from the Boulevard 70 CS which I thought was odd to begin with. It kind of leaves one wondering if there is an Advocate 70. Now it will be nice and tidy with each seat having its own name.

It's called The Vivian around here, then, by my toddler.

The Pavillion is where I work out, and that's what he calls it. The Vivian. ;)

If they were going to change Boulevard, could they have at least picked an easier word? "Pavilion" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. I also always have to stop and think if it's one L or two. That and satellite. The Satellite should be their next seat.

Well, that explains why the BV70CS has just been sitting alone on the shelf for months now, with people still registering for it and wondering why we never carry them to actually buy :rolleyes:
At least the average stocking/shipping employee will stop getting them confused, even if we don't adore the name (they go from street names to... pavilion? what's next? stadium? coliseum? theater?)

All the other 'what appear to be exactly the same' Britaxes got clearanced out and replaced with taller manuals and new item numbers, but that lone BVCS has been left behind...

Next generation seats are actually referred to as G2 by Britax. It's molded into the shell somewhere.

That makes perfect sense then that it's 3rd gen. Maybe there are labelling changes that have been implemented on US seats just to streamline mfg now that Canada has new rules?

Actually, I just saw on the pish posh baby blog that they're giving all (most of?) the 2nd gens overhauls.

There will be a Marathon 70 G3, Boulevard 70 G3, and Advocate 70 G3. It didn't say anything about the Roundabout 55. It does say MAJOR makeover, but then it doesn't give any specifics about changes. :shrug-shoulders:
