It is so weird how it makes a difference!!! My 5yo DD was very close to outgrowing the Radian in our CR-V when she had just turned 4. Now a year later I was curious if she would fit in the RXT in our van and she totally fits! Just barely, but she could still RF at 5 years old. I'm not turning her back around, mostly because we need the room and also her knees would be at her chest, but I just thought it was funny.
DS has also outgrown the classic MA rear facing in the CR-V but in the van he probably has 2" to grow in it.
