Large Family Carseat help

HI helpful ladies :) I've been going through this site and others, trying to find some answers. I am buying a new used vehicle, and need something that holds 4 carseats (2 RF, 1 FF, 1 booster) safely, with a total seating capacity of 9-12. Nothing has headrests where I need them! I'm so frustrated. Trying to find something with lower (<70k) miles and in our price range (17g including tax/title/license and our trade in balance). Can you please suggest vehicles for me to look into? Thanks so very much. My husband is away and I have to do this all by myself while caring for a newborn, all help very appreciated.

What is the balance? Hubby loves doing that stuff! He has found cars for people before:)
Also, try looking into fleet sales. Those companies require great service on the cars from their employees and sell them at great prices. Or Carmax-we have bought from them twice.

I realize that may seem nosy-I meant how much can you spend net on a vehicle. I realize $17k has to encompass all but does that make actual vehicle price $9 k, $12k, etc?

Yes, what "sticker price" are you looking for?

How many kids do you have in total? What are their ages & approx height (some kids need boosters in big vans even if they're fine in cars)?

I feel your pain. We're expecting #8. There's the new Nissan NV & the Dodge Sprinters that have headrests, but both were out of our price range. If you're really fine with 9 passengers, there are some 9-passenger SUVs, but someone else will have to fill you in on those. I have no idea, LOL.

My solution was to get a 2006 Chevy Express for $15k and have headrests put in for about $120 a bench. It requires Caravan 3rd row benches (from a scrapyard) and a competent welder.

I've been looking at sprinters in that price range. They have more miles than you are looking for, but are diesels and are supposed to last longer than gas engines anyway.
