we're getting rid of our carseat gallery. this is what i'm talking about:
http://www.amazon.com/Manhattan-Toy-201470-Seat-Gallery/dp/B00009KWV5/ref=sr_1_4/104-6362321-9686333?ie=UTF8&s=generic&qid=1186458245&sr=1-4
it hangs by the headrest of the back seat and provides stimulating images in black and white or simple colors for your RFing infant. there are 8 cards in all, with images on the front and back for a total of 16 images, desplayed 4 at a time.
our DD2 has simply outgrown it and no longer has interest. both DDs loved it when they were infants. if they got cranky on long drives, we would just swap out the images and they'd be intrigued all over again.
this gallery poses no projectile hazard. it attaches to the headrest posts using a velcro strip, or if you want something more secure, you can just poke two holes in the vinyl and skewer it in place with the headrest posts.
sells for $15 new. i was going to put it on our local craigslist for $5 but i thought i'd offer it here first. $5 plus $5 shipping.
