I bought a B-safe from nbd in Dec. and when I got it I played with it a bit and installed etc. but I haven't used it. Today I went to remove the stroller adapters, which is supposed to be 2 simple screws on each adapter. On one side the screw is totally cross threaded and it is not coming off without the jaws of life. Screwhead is totally stripped now too. I have my receipt but does it have to be from a specific auth dealer and is NBD part of a larger group that is auth?

IME Britax doesn't ask for a receipt.

when they replacaed my boulevard they only wanted info off the seat never mentioned a receipt

have you tried a rubber band on the screw head? That usually gives me more leverage.

I would just call my seat was over 2 yrs old and they replced it under the warranty with no cost to me.

I had a RA50 harness shred and called, they sent me a whole new seat, no questions asked. That seat right away wouldn't stay tight. I called they sent another seat, this time it was a MA70. Their customer service is why I remain so loyal. Unlike other companies who won't take any responsibility for their products.
Yes, tried that and then I tried a screw extractor and then I tried a needlenose pliers but it still won't come out. I'm pretty sure it's not coming out because it's cross threaded rather than because it's stripped.
Their good customer service reputation is attractive when deciding on a seat. I'm so glad nobody had issues getting replacements. I will call Monday.
