Oobr use without latch?

Dhs coworker contacted me and asked if use of an oobr in a third row suburban without latch would be okay? I wasnt sure because of thw seats weight so.i thought I would ask here. Thanks!

Yes, and I've used them without LATCH before. Remember that without LATCH you cannot use the recline, so it's way more upright, and it will need to be buckled in at all times-that's a HEAVY projectile otherwise.

I use mine without LATCH. It sure would be nice if all car manufacturers would put anchors in all locations (or more than 2 in a 7-seater van!)
