RFing a 48lb 4YO

My 4YO has been asking to RF. We tried the Radian when he was 3 and it didn't work in our Prius. By the time the angle adjuster came on teh market he was over 45lbs.

Has anyone heard any buzz of a seat coming on the market with a higher RFing limit. I know there are European seats, but that's not an option for us.

Unfortunately, no there are not any US seats that will RF past 45 pounds. There are other options from the Radian now - the Peg Perego and the Foonf, but they are both 45 pounds like the Radian.

Yeah I highly doubt that anyone will even consider making something higher than 45 lb limit any time soon either...

It would be very difficult for a seat to pass RFing at much higher than 45#, considering the test bench limitations. I agree we aren't likely to see them in the US.
