Hi all,

We have two vehicles- a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and a 2011 Jetta Sportwagen. We currently have 5 car seats but need a sixth.

In the Dodge Grand Caravan we have 2 Graco Nautilus (4y/o and 2 1/2 y/o) and a Myride65 RFing (11 month old.) In the Jetta we have 2 Radians FFing (4 y/o and 2 1/2 y/o) and we can puzzle the MyRide into the center position although moving it between vehicles is tedious at best so we're looking for a permanent solution.

I don't *love* the MyRide RFing so I'm not interested in getting a second...

The possible scenarios I'm looking at are

1) Keep the myride and nautiluses in the van and get a small convertible for the Jetta.
2) Keep the myride RFing in the jetta between the radians and get a convertible for the van where size is not an issue.
3) RF one of the radians in the Jetta for my 11 month old and get a narrow FFing seat that eventually converts to a booster for my 4yo.

Thoughts? We don't have a ton to spend (ideally under 200 dollars) and there are so many different options. The kids ride in both cars equally so we don't want a super cheap seat either. Thanks in advance.

I also have a 2010 Grand Caravan and I am really happy with my Diono RXT (radian) RFing in the captains chair. It installs really well with LATCH but I've had trouble with the seat belt so I just keep it in a position where I can use LATCH.

My 3yo is rear facing in a Britax Marathon in the 3rd row outboard installed with the seat belt.

Depending on the size/weight of your youngest you could also consider the True Fit, it's an awesome seat but it only rear faces to 35 lbs.

Would a maestro fit in the Jetta without the cupholders? If so I would get it for one of the older 2 and pass a radian down to the baby for the van.

What do the kids weigh?

4yo is 30 lbs, 38 inches
2yo is 26 lbs, 36 inches
11 month old is 16 lbs, 26 inches

All on the smaller side so higher weight limits don't matter much to me. :)
