This is what I'm talking about: http://www.gymboree.com/shop/dept_i...1334927421630&productSizeSelected=0&fit_type=
They are long-sleeved, and can be used as either a gown or sleeper. You snap the snaps on the legs to each other to make a gown, same leg to make a sleeper/one piece outfit. (Yeah, my kids pretty much live in "pajamas" when they are noobs. Sleep-n-plays and these things are my favorites when it's not hot enough to go out in a onesie and socks.)
I had some that were Land's End for Maggie and I ADORED them but I only had 2, and I think I either loaned them out or they got lost in a move somewhere; in any case I didn't see them last time I was sorting baby clothes (last pregnancy.) I never did find any last pregnancy, but was thrilled to see these this time around! I have Gymbucks and am going to get some from Gymboree, but is there anywhere else that carries them (for more design flexibility, as well as cheaper prices which would be a bonus?)
I have seen Gerber ones at the thrift store but a) I've never seen them for sale and b) I've never seen them in sizes bigger than preemie and 0-3 months- I have had 3 out of 4 children with remarkably long torsos, so 0-3 month gowns don't last very long for them. (Heck, even the 0-6 month gowns are outgrown really really fast, but they last a bit longer.) Ideally I'd be able to get a few more in 3-6 and 6-9 like Gymboree has.
Thanks!
