    graco ss1

Hello everyone! I have a quick question. I have a nine almost ten month old daughter. She is 22 pounds, 29 1/4 inches long. I know the SS1 goes to 32 inches. Is that negotiable or when she hits 32 inches do I have to purchase a new seat? I know that we will be getting a marathon but want to hold out as long as possible!

    Thanks,
    Renee

Is her current seat the SS1? As long as there is at least 1" of hard plastic shell above her head then she fits -- weight limits are very strict, but height measurements are subjective guidelines ... because some kids have long legs while others have long torsos.

Pay attention to how much shell is above her head and the WEIGHT. She has outgrown the seat when she has less than 1" of hard shell above her head OR when she weighs 30 pounds (whichever comes first).

Thanks!! That is what I thought I had heard but wanted to make sure. She is still in the middle slots for buckeling. She has at least 2 or 3 inches above her head. Thanks again! Sounds like I need to start marathon hunting though, just in case we have a growth spurt!
