Ok so I have a dear friend who is looking in to Convertibles for her DD and she is almost 1 year old so she would be interested in something that Rear Faces and eventually Forward Faces well for the 2 captain chair positions in that van!

Any of you Mamas have this van or similar years that have some good, solid fitting convertibles for these positions?

From what I've searched already I see there is a lot of issues with booster seats and FF convertibles in the 3rd row bench but they rarely use the back and only have their one DD for now.

I personally am down to only our two main seats, Blvd 70 & Recaro PR that she can try in there and I figure we'll head down to BRU to try some other things out but if you know of any to avoid or that fit perfectly I'd love to hear it so we don't waste any time! :D

TIA!

I have the 2010 Caravan so I believe it's the same body style. The Radian fits in there RFing like a dream! Seriously like they were made for each other, no AA necessary.

I have also tried the MA70 and classic MA and although they fit/install perfectly fine it was really hard for me to get the kids in and out when RFing, and they install pretty upright even in the recline position. The captains chairs just have very sloped seats. I would go with something lower profile like the radian or true fit.

FYI i liked the ff'ing install of a radian in a grand caravan captains chair (with latch) really well. I love how the Radian fits so snug to the seat. We had to move the radian to our Prius for a 3-across situation and I really miss having the Radian in the van for my middle son. He's in a seat in there now which is basically a fisher price clone of a classic Marathon. It installs very easily in the captains chair (again with latch) but I just liked the fit of the radian better as it seemed to take up so much less space and everyone going to the back has to walk past his seat since the other captains chair has the baby's rearfacing seat blocking the way.
