Anyon have a PT Cruiser?

I was in one today and in th back seat, between the front door and the back door, bolted to the vehicle frame, sticking out of the plastic there is a "U" bolt that looks like a LATCH anchor. Thats not for car seats, right? I have never seen them before. What do you use them for? Me

Okay LATCH anchor has in lower anchor or a tether hook (rf'ing or ff'ing)?

My mom has an '02 or '03 but to be honest I have never looked for a rf'ing tether anchor in her car b/c when Kinlee was rf'ing in her vehicle she was in a EB 3 in 1.

Now her lower anchors do stick out rather far from the seat bight. The pass. inner anchor actually can be used for the center position too and is rather long too.

It's to strap the vehicle seats to when you have them folded up. There is a strap on the seat itself, that you thread through the hook, and it keeps the seats from moving when they're folded.

Ok that is strange, I was in a friend of a friends car, and I thought they would think I was a freak (I sorta am) if I asked to look at the manual to figure out what they are for.

splash has it right, as she has seen them in my car. I have an 06 PT and that is for the seats, they fold down and then fold up against the front seats along the side of each seat is a clip attached to elastic this stretches and goes onto the hook to keep the seats from falling backward if you make a fast stop when they are folded all the way up.
