Hen I got pregnant with DD, I joined a due date group on another site. Our babies are about 20 months now, but we are all still very close. We've experienced stillbirths, divorce, affairs, miscarriages, heartbreak, etc.
One of our members had her third baby, a girl, in January. Before she was born, she had her husband were having problems and were separated. She's moved back with her mom and he doesn't help much. Recently her car was repo'd. The older girls' seats were in it. She can't get them back for various reasons. So she was asking me the other day to help her find new seats as cheap as possible. I linked her to an Apt and Maestro, which would be just over $100 all together. The Maestro is for the 3yo and the Apt for the RF 19m old.
But then the other ladies and I got to work. Everybody pitched in and we just placed the order. Amazon will be delivering the Maestro Thursday and she can pick up the Apt from her Kmart.
This is the second time we've done this. Another member needed a convertible for her youngest to free up the bucket for the new baby on the way. Similar problems with the husband. We bought an Onside Air.
There is still goodness and kindness in the world. I think it's amazing, considering we live all over the country and only a few have actually met in person!
