RAdian RF in Explorer

I have an 05 Ford Explorer. HAs anyone RF the radian in the second row? How did you install so there is room for a driver to fit? I have a 3 yr old in the middle in a Britax Boulevard. Works great. I have 7 month old twins who are graduating from Chicco Keyfit 30 on the outsides. When we tried to install the radians today...they didn't leave any room for the front driver & passenger. My husband is 6'1" and literally doesn't fit. Are we doing something wrong? What seats should we be using to RF in this config?

What about putting the three year old on the side, the twins next to one another (I'm assuming the three year old is rear facing, btw), and getting angle adjusters for the Radians provided the twins have head control?

Also, check your manual. If you don't have advanced airbags in the car, you can brace the Radians and Britax against the front seat.

Did you get angle adjusters for them? My guess is that they're over reclined and you need the angle adjuster and they'll probably be fine.

The Radian installs in the Explorer very nicely, I was using Latch and braced against the seats and it left lots of room for me. If you scroll down to the last picture in the first post you can see a bit of the install and the way it is braced on the seat: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?p=2177865#post2177865
I did try an angle adjuster and it works very well, made the install very upright and there was no need to brace, only downside was it took away some of the legroom. Hope that helps!

I've got DDs radian on the passenger side right now and its more upright than in the center but the passenger seat is still very close to the dash. Angle adjustors might be a good odds. The install is very easy in an explorer though. Be very careful with the Super LATCH, it appears right in my explorer, but loosens VERY easily. I do not use it.
