ff truefit vs radian

Anyone have any pics of larger ffers in both seats? Bonus points if you also have an 01 t&c :p Trying to decide if we should stick with the CA65 or try something else. Mostly Austin (stats in sig) would be using the seat, but I would like the option to use it with the others.

I can't help with pictures, but I can tell you that at 50 pounds, my son only barely fit in the tfp, but rode for several years longer in the radian. The tfp's top harness setting is 17 inches, the radian's is 17.5 inches and you can go over the top slots. The complete air's top setting is 18 inches.

I don't have pics, either, but I'll give my thoughts. My ds, who is now about 47" and 42lbs (or so) still fit in the Radian last I tried him. It's much, much better for bigger riders than the TF.

The crotch buckle on the TF was just too short, for his taste. And, I was uncomfortable buckling him because it was just too close to his...parts. Also, my ds is a pretty skinny kid, and the TF is a wide, wide seat. It was hard for him to rest his head in the TF. A bigger kid might not have a problem (except for that crotch buckle).

So, for bigger kids, the Radian with the longer crotch buckle (do they even have those any more?). They do! http://us.diono.com/en/replacement-parts/radian-center-buckle-strap?vmcchk=1
