I run a daycare and have a private fb account for my clients plus a fb page for the public. I would like to write up an article called 'Why my 32mo is 'still' rearfacing in the car'.
Anyone care to help? I have a set of very well educated clients that have come to me for all of their carseats questions until now. They enrolled when they were pg and she started at 7wks. She is 13mo now and has been FF since possibly before she turned one. She is in a Graco Smart Seat and my classic MA that is expiring this month. They flipped her in MY seat and have never asked about the top tether or to check the install. They know my view on FF I guess, but I am careful to use a non-judgemental approach. I am going to be asking them what their plans are for their 2nd vehicle now that the seat is expired. Not sure why they thought the SS was a good choice since it has to be moved daily between vehicles and I just don't have the room to store her large seat here. She was 20lbs 4oz and 29in at her 12mo. She doesn't even register on my home scale which starts at 19lbs.
I never ever thought that they would be the ones to flip her. Anyway, I just want to get the info out there to all of my clients and in general.
