We were in an accident today I was going between 45-50 mph and a guy tried to come over into my lane and hit us and it jolted us to the side. My front passenger door wont open and my hubby says it looks like the whole front quarter panel needs to be replaced. The twins were in their Britax Chaperones and my 5 year old was in his Britax frontier. I was on my way to my dr's appt im 13 weeks pregnant and i was able to drive there and home. I was fine other than at the dr's my blood pressure was way high lol. On my way home my back and side of my stomach started hurting and are still hurting. Do you all think i need to replace them or no?
Thanks!

You are sore, so you were injured. This makes it a major crash according to NHTSA guidelines http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=9575 All of your seats need to be replaced. It sounds like the other guy is at fault so be sure his insurance knows you're replacing your seats and they will reimburse you.

Sorry he hit you but I'm glad you're all mostly okay.

Thanks! I ended up going to the ER last night because I was really hurting in my stomach and back. Not contractions or cramps but it just hurt not sure how to describe it. Some sharp pains and feels like either i pulled something or i dont know its weird. They said everything is fine with the baby so im happy.

The guy didnt leave one of the first things he said to me was im so sorry its all my fault i wasnt paying attention. he also has the same insurance as me so the lady said that makes it easier. They just need his statement also said they would replace my seats but i need to take them to the fire dept to get checked to see if they are compromised. Insurance is Geico.

Bring all of your manuals with you so you can show the fire dept that per the manual, none of them are safe to use.

Most importantly, I'm glad you're all okay. On top of that, I'm glad that it seems like they aren't going to give you a hard time and will replace your seats for you! Awesome.
