Yes, how much did you pay for your CPS course? I am just wondering what the average price for the course is. TIA

$260: $200 local fee and $60 SafeKids fee.

I hear it varies widely, though.

I paid the 60 dollar SK fee. There is no local fee. Yippers!

I had no local fee either - I even got a "grant" of sorts to cover 2 nights in a hotel and meals (it was a 2 hour drive). It really does vary area to area.

$120 including local fees. They also provided a hotel for anyone more than 50 miles away.

Wow, the one around here is $950 Sorry, but I would rather wait. I think they also have a grant for $500 dollars if you agree to help in seat checks for 2yrs. But even then, $450 dollars is too much. :thumbsdown:

I'm taking it in September (YEEHAW!). $60 SK fee, no local fee. We are going about 5 hours away, so we'll be paying hotel accommodations and such (well, we're most likely camping, so camping fees and such).

There is a local gentleman who sponsors courses here, so there is NO fee at all, even if you have to travel and stay in the city where they hold the course, he covers ALL accommodations and course fees. :thumbsup::thumbsup:
I wasn't able to go to it a couple months ago, but sure would have loved to take advantage of that. They do that particular course once a year or so, depending on demand, which is pretty low around here.

$60, no local fee. Breakfast (muffins, etc from Costco), catered lunch (QDoba, etc), and lots of snacks and drinks every day. We have a class coming up in September - come on up and take it here! I cannot understand why the class in your area has such a high fee - that is crazy!!

$75 .... $60 to SK and $15 local fees

$950??!! Mine was $60, with no local fee and no meals. Had to take care of lunch myself , but that's ok, since holy Lord in heaven - $950. . . .

It would be $60 SK and then $100 out of county
Wish it would count for me that DH works in montgomery county lol

$60 here, no extra fee. there WAS a course near here a few months before I took my course, with like an extra $50, and I refued to take that course on principle, LOL!!!

$60 plus $250 in local fees (WI) that weren't listed on the class I was supposed to have taken in mid-July. They called me FOUR days before to tell me that. :thumbsdown:
