What to do about fraying Marathon straps?

Does Bitax replace them if you call and complain? What is the process? Ours is fraying by the right lower buckle. This is a classic Marathon purchased in 2008

Re: What to do about fraying Marathon straps?

i don't know how much it matters but are they beige?? mine from that year have a little fuzziness to them as well but i feel like my older 2005 gray one never did. i don't have it any more so i don't know.

my gut says it is a cosmetic issue not a safety one - it's quite minor. there was someone here who complained about much more severe fraying though and did get a replacement when they complained. they put a pic up, it was much much worse than mine.
