Radian vs. Scenera

So I had to drive a couple of my friend's kids today, and I picked the ones that were big enough not to need seats/boosters. The only thing I can fit in my Honda next to DD's Radian is another Radian.

Anyway, when I picked the kids up, the 4 y.o. wanted to ride with me so she could sit by the baby. She rides in a Scenera in her mom's car, which won't fit. I told her next time I'd put a car seat in my car so she could ride by the baby.

She is on the top slots of the Scenera, but has growing room (maybe an inch). She probably weighs a little over 30 lbs. What harness height should I use on my Radian? I'd really probably need to adjust it and install before I went to pick the kids up.

(ETA: I have a 2nd Radian she can use, just to clarify)

Scenera is 15 inches. I'd put the straps in the second from the top. Or the top. Too high for ffing isn't an issue.

When ds was even w/ top slots on scenera, the 4th slots on radian (rf) were still a little above his shoulders...so I think you should be safe w/ the 4th for ff.

Yeah, I think 4th is pretty safe. Thanks. :)

I won't forget Safe Stop. I may choose not to attach the top tether for a single 15 minute ride rather than deal with SS, though. :duck: We'll see.
