The Graystone Marathon (to replace the Decathlon) came today! The DOM is 7/23/07, so it was just made 1 day before we called...and it got here really quickly too!

The new RF lockoffs are definitely better in that they're not so easy to break, lol...but they are still a total pain in the butt! I really like the cover and it'll go well with the Shadow Marathon in my car.

Congratulations! We are waiting for our MA in mariposa that's replacing our DC too! (Why did you have to replace it? On ours the whole harness adjusting mechanism came out.)

Wow was the seat still warm from the assembly line??

They look good. I have never seen anything other than the stock photos of the greystone and I thought that the center was not plush, but it looks like it is.

Congrats on the new seat!

Thanks! I was so excited to see 7/23/07 and it smells brand new...kind of like a new car actually. And it did feel warm, lol...but probably just because it was ridiculously hot outside today!

The center is plush, just like the outside. It's really nice!

Ohhh, so exciting. What a great DOM. We have the greystone MA in DH's car, I really like the cover.

I am waiting on our Boulevard to come to replace our DC. I called on Friday, so hopefully it is here soon. I got the Shannon to replace it. I can't wait for it to get here.

Congrats!

Wow, what a DOM!

I really like the Graystone pattern. One of my local Targets still has a bunch of Graystone Marathons left. I wish they were on sale. :(

Thanks Christy!

And duh, I forgot to answer about why we had to replace the DC (it was asked earlier too)!

The harness wasn't adjusting right. It wouldn't tighten past a certain point (nowhere near tight enough) when buckled. We had to unbuckle it, tighten it, then buckle it back...and repeat until it was tight enough. Then once it was actually tight enough, it was REALLY hard to get buckled back. It was just ridiculous and we've dealt with it for about 7 months now and can't take it anymore, lol.
