I was looking at our FR85 today and noticed that my daughter only has a click or 2 left for how much higher the headrest can go. She is only 4 and not freakishly huge. My 7 year old still fits in it (or at least she did this summer) and is about 5-6 inches taller than the 4 year old, but most of the height difference is in the legs.
What is a typical age for a child to outgrow the harness height? Or maybe better yet what is a typical height? She is about 42-43 inches tall and about 45 pounds. I don't know her torso measurement. She wears size 6 shirts (and some 5's and even some 6x's depending on brand), and wears mostly 4's for pants even though they are really too tight, but she has only a few 5's that aren't still too long (i.e. in shorts and skirts wear length doesn't matter, she wears 6 and mostly 6x). She is just outgrowing the blvd by height in my ex-husbands car.
Also,I haven't read the manual yet, but I am assuming that somehow the headrest goes higher still for booster mode? There is a plastic triangular block that hits at the top which is why I am assuming that is the maximum harness height.
