We've been having a really hard time getting our Radian XT to fit in our 2004 Jetta Wagon We've tried it in the middle and on the passenger side, but with a 6'1" husband it's just not working for us. If it's installed in the middle then DH can't drive and can barely squeeze into the passenger side, and if it's on the passenger side then even I can't sit in the passenger side front seat, and I'm 5'6"!
We just purchased a Diono Angle Adjuster to see if it would make any difference, and it has opened up a lot of leg room for us in the front seat, but now the carseat looks like it's WAY too upright for a 9 month old baby!
I'm not sure how to measure the angle but I'm guessing it's too inclined? It's not touching the head rest of the front seat.
I've found someone who will purchase the seat from us (it's only been used twice) so we are open to buying a new seat if we can find one that will fit better RFing and allow both DH and I to use both front seats of the car.
Maybe a Britax Marathon would fit better?
