DD rode in a backless booster today

It was only for ~6 blocks. In the Harmony booster (the "youth booster", not the Cruz). I had to give DH the Vivo for in his car yesterday, and he forgot to take it out and leave it for me. Which I figured he would do, and planned on installing the Regent for DD in my van anyway... until I woke up an hour and a half late this AM  (approximately 20 minutes before the 2 kids and I had to leave the house). So into the backless she went, and the fit was CRAZY good.:eek::eek: Lap belt was good, the shoulder belt was JUST on the edge of the middle of her shoulder (does that make any good sense? probably not. It was slightly 'off center' towards the outside), but not yet on the edge of her shoulder.

So anyway, yeah, I was surprised. It's doubtful she could stay in position for more than a short ride (we could walk to school, honestly, but I was obviously way late, and it was pouring rain). But it's nice to know that I can have an emergency back-up for less than $70.

We have a Harmony Literider (I think that's the model, the pink zebra one) for DD to use every once in a while. It fits her great and it's nice to know we have it for back-up, carpooling and traveling. (she likes it a little too much though and always wants to use it).

yes! It's the literider. I don't know why they call it the generic "youth booster seat" - it's kind of like I hate Cosco's "Highback booster" combo seat  Just give it a flippin name!

DD was really excited to use it. Now she'll want to use it more often I'm sure, but she'll get over it (it is pink too, which I'm sure doesn't help)

Yeah, I saw that too... ugh. And I loved how, in the comments, he says it's OK, because, you know, FREAKONOMICS (and that dated the blog post right there). ugh.
