Ugh- I flipped DD rfing again this morning (long story) in her Blvd70 and found out that I am having a hard time making it fit:( It would fit better in the second row middle BUT because of a stupid piece of plastic in/ on the bench it won't really go there. I used to have a RA55 installed no problem RFing but the Blvd70 takes up too much room front to back- is there really such a difference in seats??? I don't own the RA55 anymore so I can't compare:( plus- can the Blvd79 touch the front seat???

In terms of outside dimensions? No, they're the same. The harness height is slightly lower on the RA55, but the shell should be the same.

It can touch the seat, provided your vehicle allows it.

Yes, outside dimension:eek: the RA55 fit great RFing but the Blvd70 seems to be taller or something- it seems to be taken up more room front to back. But since it can touch the front seat I can make it work.... DD is so small and she just had another cardiac check up so I feel better putting her RFing again:D
