Need some input please

Smaller cars. A hundai elantra I think (with tall driver) and a PT cruiser. Seems they put babe on the driver side. He is still in the infant seat at 17 months (15 months adjusted), a safety first onboard 35 air. He is at the height limit and about 30 pounds. I think they will need a seat with a small rf footprint if there is any chance of them keeping him rf after this. And an easy install if possible.

I was wondering about how long a new gen britax would last a kid still in the onboard at 15 (17) months. I think it might be the right size to fit rf well. Any other suggestions? Not sure on price point, but just throw things out there for me please

I fit a Scenera at at about 40* today for a older RF in a 2008 Elantra behind passenger. With seat mostly back, but pretty upright.

I know nothing about the new gen Britax though sorry

My go to is the EFTA. (Or ET65, whatever we're calling it now.) It's got that sort of 'egg' thing going on, so I think it works well with little front to back space.
