WWY have done in this situation?

Situation: I was leaving the farm last night and noticed that the child of one of the employees was in an outgrown infant bucket installed FF with the seatbelt across the top of it. Child is about 16 months. Another child should have been in a booster. Family was receptive when I informed them that the seat was outgrown and child also needed to be RF. The only seat I had at my disposal at the time was a GN.

    So... WWYD?

    (A) Give them the information and leave it at that (keeping in mind that I'm not a tech, so maybe I don't want to touch any seats for possible liability reasons?)
    (B) Offer the GN as a FF seat for the 1y/o (not ideal, but given that the infant bucket was outgrown might be lesser of two evils because at least child meets manufacturer's height/weight limits on the GN?) ETA: Short term solution until they can get a Scenera or something.
    (C) Offer the GN as a booster for the older child until they could get one and have them install the infant bucket RF
    (D) Other?

Offering to watch the baby and/or run out and get another seat and booster was not an option at the time.

That's tough. If I weren't able to reach out to c-s.o for help and had to decide myself, not being a tech, I would choose B.

Yeah, forgot to mention that also. Reaching out here to do a "quick, help!" post wasn't an option because there wasn't anyone who had access to the farm's computer and data service on my phone doesn't work out there.

I'd educate and install the outgrown bucket properly. Yes, it's outgrown, but better than having the kid in an outgrown, improperly installed seat. (I can't afford to be giving out $100 seats to everyone I see without proper seats.)
