Sorry about the lack of title. Apparently my toddler deleted the title when I wasn't looking and I didn't notice before I came back and posted.
Complete Air 65 SE - Continuing Saga
So... someone here tipped me off after my whole CA 65 SE / Dorel Customer Service Saga thing that Amazon had the CA65SE for $152...
After poking around for a bit I realized this was a new model number.
I had been told by Dorel that they "never" made the SE version of the CA65 without the harness strap covers, which was why they couldn't honor their promise to replace mine and sent me a refund. So I emailed the product tech back and asked what the difference was between the two model numbers, and she told me they were the "same kind" of seat and there weren't any differences.
Well, since they don't seem to know what they're talking about down there, I decided to order it from Amazon for myself and see.
It showed up today. Sure enough, it does NOT have the harness strap covers.
DOM is January 25, 2012.
I had harbored an unrealistic hope that maybe it would even have the dual recline angle on the side, but it doesn't. Recline measures about 48 degrees with the line level to the ground.
But I think I'm ok with it just not having the strap covers. I might not use it right away. Maybe I should think about it for a bit. I can always return it to Amazon if I change my mind if I don't use it.
In case anybody's shopping for it, the new model number is CC093AIR - the old one was CC051AIR.
