What kind of car do you drive?

Our primary child-hauling vehicle is 07 Odyssey exl. We also own a '98 Ext. Cab Silverado (suicide door), and an '05 Mustang gt. Seats also go in grandparent vehicles, '01 Cherokee Sport, and '04 Passat. I don't go out of my way to use the mustang w/ children unless I'm feeling unusually masochistic.

We drive a 2008 Toyota Matrix. In there right now we have a Nautilus and KF30 both outboard. Thinking about putting a Radian 65 in there though so I can put one of them in the middle, the KF wont fit next to the Nauti.

We have a 99 Altima that is *thisclose* to 200k miles, and a 97 Subaru Legacy station wagon with 185k miles. 3 across is tricky in the altima but not too bad in the subaru. When the baby outgrows the infant seat, we may not all fit in the altima...

Sometime within the next year we plan to buy a minivan! I am very much looking forward to it! :)

I drive a Yukon XL Denali named Donna. She usually has a Recaro ProSport, Recaro ProRide and Recaro ProBooster in her.

DH drives a Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax whom is nameless. It has a Compass camo print booster in it and a Peg Pereg Primo Viaggio when the baby rolls with him.

2006 & 2001 dodge grand caravans. what's funny is they are both SILVER. LOL that wasn't on purpose

generally speaking the 01 is the main van. the 06 is our "extra". each one has their pros & cons. not sure which i like better. i like having the versatility of the stow n go on the '06 but i don't want to install & uninstall the regent everytime we want/need the extra room so the regent stays in the '01. who knows what we'll do come when DS is fully boostered. i might change up my van every month.

Finally got time for this.

I'm a car geek.. like my girl Dani :)

I drive a 2011 Odyssey Touring Elite with 39k km as my primary vehicle with any two of: Oobr, Monterey, Parkway or Olli. My part-time vehicle is a 1989 Toyota Landcruiser...it's nicknamed "Shitmobile". It's totally NOT, at 139k mi and fully loaded with power everything, but my family is spoiled. My oldest son has Wendy's old Xterra, with about 139k mi on it as well but 12 years newer!

I don't usually let the little kids go in the Shitmobile or Xterra, but I do have a TwoWay for the lapbelt in the Landcruiser for if I need all four kids in there...it can't be retrofitted with top tethers. Since I don't like all my eggs in one basket, I don't let my littles go with their big brother driving in the Xterra.

Shitmobile and Xterra will have to be sold in preparation for our move to Arizona this Summer, sadly.. I think they'll be replaced with my bicycle and a 2012 Impreza HB. DH and I will be a single car couple if we buy a house near light rail, so no more need for 3 cars.

I am NOT a car person, and my husband isn't either, but being a guy he doesn't really want to admit it.

I usually drive a 2006 Kia Optima; he usually drives a 2006 Saturn Vue. We switch if I'm going to Costco or hauling kids and gear to a meet. We also own a 2001 Subaru Legacy that we really should sell but can't bring ourselves to (long story).

I have a 2003 Windstar and DH has a 2004 Freestar.

I really want to get rid of one van and get a car with good gas mileage. Mine only gets 11-12 mpg.

I drive a 2011 3500 Chevy Silverado, upgraded once we bought our fifth wheel.
My DH, drives a 2500 silverado, which probably by the end of the year will be traded in for some sort of 7 passenger unit, which is yet to be determined. We will keep my truck, and DH will upgrade to a SUV. He doesn't pull, and is really picky about vehicles. Mine is mine, he has yet to drive it, and I rarely am in his.
We do each have a fun car, but mine is also getting sold. Mine is more just for the fact that it was a gift from him, and something I had always wanted. I have a Mini Cooper, which has never had seats in it, as I don't take the girl's in it.
He has a 1969 Mustang. Again with the seats. They mostly sit in the garage, and I may take mine out once a month while the girl's are in school.
Must say my vehicles currently don't have names, but most have had in the past.
Eddie (Eddie Baure ford explorer)
Lance (Dodge Lancer)
Sunny (Pontiac Sunbird)
Bill (Cavalier, LOL)
Yes none are very original until you get to Bill. When I got my Cavalier in 2004 it had an ice scraper with the name Bill on it, and it just stuck.

I drive a craptastic 2008 Dodge Avenger. It was lovely when I was doing a 40km round trip to work 6 days a week with no kid. Now it doesn't leave me a ton of leg room with a rfing TF behind me and the trunk blows. But the centre seat was made for an upright CA install ;) I really wish that I could get rid of it, but I'm stuck with it for probably at another six months. Bah!

DH drives a 2007 Dodge Charger whom I think he may love more than me. The back seat is about 8 miles wide and the trunk could fit dead bodies. It's a wonderful highway car as it rides like a cloud and is so spacious. He's got a rfing MR installed centre with his seat all the way back and it still doesn't even touch. And I could probably comfortably put true fits outboard. I'd try it but he doesn't like me messing with his car.

I had a Corolla from March 2002 to March 2011, traded it in on a 2009 Chevy Malibu LT, totaled that 5 months later and ended up with a 2012 Chevy Malibu LT. I loved the way the car performed in a wreck so much I had to get another one!

A 1999 Ford Taurus Wagon. It's called the Wounded Wagon.

My last car died in October, it was a 1998 Ford Escort. It was the Nastmobile. My dad owned t before I did and is an absolute slob, so the car was always nasty. So the name just stuck.

2003 VW Passat wagon.

I like it. It's paid for. Fits tall adults. DD has lots of leg room in her Regent behind me with my seat all the way back. It has a cheery butter leather interior for dark gloomy days. Lots of accelleration for short autobahn onramps. Decent fuel mileage. Heck, it's the same at 95mph cruising as it is at 65mph. :shrug-shoulders:

My only complaint is that the heating/cooling control design and implementation really suck.

We just bought a 2011 Mercedes benz Sprinter for vacations and long trips.
I still drive our 2006 Dodge Grand caravan as a daily driver.
My husband drives a 2001 Ford Ranger for work and drives
a 1992 Subaru SVX on his days off.
I know, too many vehicles!
We are deciding which vehicle to let go:(
