Britax cover staining...

Have you had this issues with the classic Marathon cover in Solstice? There is staining like grungy dirty staining from the one time she spilled juice.

Have you been able to get it out? It is on the cover in front of the crotch strap area. I was going to possibly trade for a girly cover but cant with the staining.

Have you tried washing it yet? A drip of detergent in the gentle/handwash cycle and a good air dry (maybe in some sunshine) are all my Britax covers have ever needed to look good as new.

I washed it no luck.

I may try again with a little dawn. I have never had this issue with their covers and I have had Britax seats since 2006.

I'd put a little liquid tide on it before washing. Dawn might work too.

For juice stains I use an acid like Vinegar.

For oil stains I use *orange* that stuff in the repair section of Walmart--for washing oil off your hands when you fix the car.

Our seat is kind of grungy looking (I can't even remember our patterns name

), I'm going to have to break down and take it off and wash... have you tried Spray n Wash and letting it sit for a while?? On tough stains I spray and leave it damp for overnight. Sometimes it works well...other times Im fighting a losing battle

I really like Tide too, I will apply that and let it "work" overnight too. Good Luck. Darn stains!
